PMD Capital, headquartered in Mexico City, is an investment company focused on taking control positions in Emerging Markets financial institutions. PMD specializes in the restructuring and turnaround of stressed institutions, as well as the acquisition of emerging institutions in markets poised to benefit from consolidation. We target social finance institutions which serve the Microfinance and Small and Medium Enterprice (collectively, "MSME") sectors.
PMD is dedicated to generating fully-commercial risk adjusted returns while simultaneously generating significant social impact. By providing dedicated turnaround and restructuring expertise, PMD seeks to develop critical market infrastructure while providing specialized resources and secondary market liquidity to MSME investors which lack internal workout capacity.
